Gardening  My hobbies  are Gardening, Cooking , Listening Songs. First let's talk about gardening . Gardening is a very useful hobby. Unlike most of other hobbies gardening is important  for our life. It has many advantages. Gardening is regarded as a pleasurable and profitable pastime too. I have planned various kinds of fruits and vegetables in my garden. Some of the fruits are banana, mango, papaw, star fruits. Some of vegetables are beans, brinjals, tomatoes, ladies fingers. I spend about two hours in my garden everyday. I water and manure my vegetable beds. I pull out weeds. I can eat fresh fruits and vegetables because of my hobby.   Martin Wickramasinghe ❤ There are so many writers who can speak to the heart of the ordinary people. Of these some are so special and memorable .So my favorite writer is Martin Wickramasinghe.  Wickramasinghe was a great  Sri Lankan writer of the 20th century. He was born in 1890 at Koggala in Southern Province, close to Galle. He has written a lot of novels. He published 14 novels  and 104 stories. His novels which were made into film are Gamperaliya, Viragaya, Madoldoova, Kaliyugaya and Yuganthaya.   💥My favorite film is 777 Charlie . 777  Charlie is a 2022 Indian Kannada language films. It is written and directed by Kiranraj K and this film produced by Paramvah studios.   Recently we had the chance of visiting the Sinharaja Forest. Our family members organized this tour. There were 10 members for this tour. We were able to reach Rakwana at about 10.00a.m. This forest is situated in the South Western section of the island. From Rakwana we travelled through tea estates.After about half an hour we reached the little village of Kudawa. Then we went to the office of the forest department. We obtained the necessary permits there. A guide too came with us. We walked along the paths . While walking we could see various kinds of trees and creepers in various sizes. It was a very attractive scene. We also came across a large number of beautiful butterflies. The Sinharaja is the only rain forest in Sri Lanka. It is the home to hundreds of indigenous flora and many kinds of birds, beasts, and reptiles. It has become a national heritage wilderness area under the the national heritage area act in 1988. At the end of last June 2020,We went on a trip to Nuwaraeliya. Our family members organized this trip. We leaved at home 6.00a.m.After that we reached Kandy at about 8.00a.m.We stopped near the Kandy lake and had our breakfast. After the few time, We went to the Dhalada Maligawa . We offered flowers and worshipped the Lord Buddha. At about 9.00am we proceeded to Nuwaraeliya. On our way, we  visited Ambewela Milk Factory. Milk Factory is very beautiful and good quality milk powder is produced here. On our way to Nuwaraeliya, we saw a number of attractive waterfalls.
